CHICAGO – Lexington College hosted a Fall Benefit Dinner, “Building Scholarships for Service” honoring Jan Fields, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of McDonalds, USA. Over 700 attended the event, held on Monday, November 2 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. The event raised nearly $500,000 in scholarship funds for Lexington students, the largest amount in the history of the College. Mai Martinez, Co-Anchor of CBS Channel 2 joined as master of ceremonies for the evening’s event.
The event celebrated Fields for her exemplary leadership in the foodservice and hospitality industry, and her continued support of the College. We thank the Event Co-Chairs: East Balt Commissary, Marriott International, Park Ridge Community Bank, The Coca-Cola Company, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Winn for leading the scholarship fund raising efforts.
