Here’s Chicago! Palmer House Hilton Chicago Unveils New Spa Chakra and Event Space for Chicago Meetings

Palmer House Hilton Chicago Presents New Spa Offers and Event Space for Meeting and Event Planners
Spa Chakra opened in the Palmer House in September as part of the Hilton hotel’s multimillion-dollar renovation project, which also saw the launch of Lockwood restaurant and Potter’s bar.
Occupying 8,000 square feet, the spa features 12 treatment rooms dedicated to massage, facials, body therapies, hydrotherapy, Vichy shower, and health assessments. Each spa visit begins with a private foot bath in a curtained-off nook, and full-day packages come with a catered spa luncheon.
Available for full buyouts, the spa can host Chicago meetings, Chicago product launches, and executive seminars for approximately 30 guests. Meetings and events can take place in a reception area, a retail section, or in the foot-bath lounge. For events, meeting planners can choose to present Spa Gift Packs, which come with healthy snacks or beauty products.

As part of a $150 million-dollar restoration project, The Palmer House Hilton,
Chicago’s world-famous landmark hotel, will unveil Spa Chakra, the hotel’s new five-star wellness facility,
in early 2008.

The introduction of the spa comes on the heels of a 10-year partnership agreement between Hilton
Hotels Corporation, Spa Chakra, Inc., and several luxury-goods partners that will add more than 70 new
spas to its upscale Hilton properties worldwide.
Not new to the US and international spa circuit, Spa Chakra currently manages the spas at Conrad
hotels in Indianapolis and Miami with sister locations in the Great Barrier Reef, Sydney, and Switzerland.
