MYB Launches Face2Face and Beyond
By admin | June 18, 2009

MYB Launches Face2Face and Beyond
Strategic meeting and event production agency, Minding Your Business, Inc. (MYB), launches Face2Face and Beyond, a tool that initiates on-going, two-way dialogue before, during, and long after a meeting has ended.
The meeting experience has evolved. Whether your organization hosts an annual meeting, a customer conference, sales incentive or just a multitude of internal meetings (or all of the above), there’s no doubt you’ve recognized change is in the air. At their core, meetings and events are about bringing people together for the purpose of education, sharing ideas and networking. Take a corporate annual conference or association meeting as an example. Historically, these meetings are the one opportunity each year for you to communicate key messages to your employees, customers or members. They benefit from learning about what’s new in your organization and their industry. But most importantly, your attendees feel a greater connection to your brand and leave with the sense that they are part of something bigger – the community that naturally comes when like-minded people are all in one place together at one time.
“While the value of connecting with one another face-to-face will never go away, this crucial element of community is now demanding more of a primary, ongoing focus,” says Max Suzenaar, CEO of MYB. “The same cultural shift that’s helped us easily connect on a personal level through social networks and other technologies has spilled over into the business world opening up a world of new opportunities for organizations to initiate ongoing two-way dialogue with their target audiences beyond the life of the meeting or event.” It’s what the Chicago-based strategic meeting and event production agency has termed, Face2Face and Beyond. And the evolution couldn’t have come at a better time as many organizations face budget cuts that are directly impacting their meeting spend and in some cases, the ability to meet face to face at all. The value in this new thinking is that it expands the intimate connection you have with your audience from a once a year occurrence to a once a day habit while building your brand and strengthening your most important relationships.
So what can you do to create that powerful 365-day connection with your audiences?
START TODAY!
• Engage your audience NOW for your upcoming meeting or event – whether it’s in two months, six months or a year away. Don’t wait until registration opens to start the dialogue.
• Rethink how you market your meeting by revamping your plan to a full year initiative that engages before, during and after. Create an online community to get your audience invested in discussion while connecting with likeminded colleagues and experts within your organization. These online communities can be social media, discussion boards, blogs, wikis…you name it.
MYB Launches Face2Face and Beyond
• Give them a reason to come back for more. Once they’ve made the leap to join your community, it’s essential you captivate your audience with continuously updated, fresh content. Simply creating a Facebook page and putting the call out for “fans” won’t do the trick. Manage the dialogue by contributing unique insights on the day’s industry news, offering hot topics for discussion, posting new professional development tips for your audience, or any other relevant content that will resonate with your audience.
• When it’s time to meet, create the most impactful experience possible. Deliver more compelling, targeted content in an interactive way that’s most conducive to learning. Demonstrate your unique value by providing relevant knowledge and benefits your participants can’t obtain anywhere else. Orchestrate a memorable, multi-sensory experience and offer unique networking opportunities for likeminded attendees to share best practices.
The benefits of this “Face2Face and beyond” mindset translates into real ROI for your organization. Proving ongoing education and networking opportunities adds member value which in turn builds loyalty and creates new members. Engaging your community in industry dialogue helps you shape relevant content for your next face to face meeting. The buzz you generate through your social network increases brand awareness and expands your prospective audience far beyond the usual suspects. Most significantly, it creates the desire and demand that ensures your next face to face meeting is a “must attend” in the prospective participant’s mind.
MYB is the next evolution of meeting and event agencies, delivering proven results through a unique fusion of creative and strategic thinking. MYB combines the focused expertise of a consultant with the in-depth approach of a marketing agency to craft experiences that succeed beyond just ROI. With award winning experiential design and expert integration of next-gen technologies, MYB helps connect organizations connect with their audience in new and surprising ways. The result? Increased relevancy. Stronger relationships. Inspired sales teams. And expertly designed experiences that maximize impact and drive business, period. MYB is the secret weapon. The silent partner. The mind behind the meeting, driving change in the ever-evolving world of meetings. For more information on how Minding Your Business can deliver maximum impact for your next meeting or event, visit their website at www.myb.net.
